Congrats
@SenRoyceWest
on the passage of SB25 by the Senate! #TXcommunitycolleges know you've been committed to improving the transfer of credits between community colleges & universities over the last several sessions; we greatly appreciate your tenacity & leadership! #txlege

#TXcommunitycolleges want what’s best for students, & performance-based funding requires more transparency on their behalf. The program has raised the level of accountability and created positive financial incentives for us beyond enrollment. #WeServeAllTexans #txlege

We believe Early College High Schools propel students to postsecondary success by enabling them to graduate with a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously. For low-income students, early college means dreams can become an affordable reality. #EarlyCollegeWeek

#TXcommunitycolleges build strong partnerships w/ ISD's to provide early college opportunities to students who are historically underrepresented in #highered. Nationally, students who have access to such programs, are more likely to persist to graduation. #earlycollegeweek

The number of Texans enrolled in community colleges has roughly doubled since 1990, & we play a key role in the state's workforce development & educational attainment goals. Let's continue serving all Texans by keeping #TXcommunitycolleges the 3rd most affordable in the Nation!

Congratulations @GoToSwcid for being the first House Bill sent to Governor @GovAbbott! The passage of this bill will more accurately reflect the mission and purpose of the college. @HC_BigSpring #WeServeAllTexans #txlege #TXcommunitycolleges
