CCATT will offer the next New Trustee Orientation for community college board members in Texas on Friday, January 30, 2026!
As the only elected officials in higher education, trustees and regents across the state represent an important voice in matters of policy, resources, and governance for our colleges—and an important voice for the students that we educate.
This virtual session will be useful for recently elected community college board members and other leaders who guide the local orientation processes for new trustees. Presentations will focus on effective board governance, the board-CEO relationship, fiscal responsibilities, and key metrics for student success.
