2. Students complete their first college-level mathematics requirement in their first year of college.
3. Strategies to support students as learners are integrated into courses and are aligned across the institution.
4. Instruction incorporates evidence-based curriculum and pedagogy.
The Texas Success Center recognizes excellence in the implementation of mathematics pathways by presenting annual awards to colleges that exemplify each of the four principles. Additionally, the Success Center recognizes one college as the year's overall exemplar for excellence in implementing all four mathematics pathways principles.
