There has been significant discussion about the many ways that the federal adult education program can support the community college mission. This post-institute session will utilize high engagement strategies appropriate for virtual learning. By the end of the session, participants will:
- Understand the ways that the federal AEL program supports implementation of the guided pathways framework.
- Learn about Texas community colleges utilizing the federal AEL program to support implementation of Guided Pathways.
- Learn about braided funding (aka leveraged funding) options when integrating AEL into guided pathways implementation work.
- Complete a cross-walk template for AEL integration at your institution.
Participants are encouraged to attend the session with the federal AEL lead for their institution or region.
