The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has released a Request for Information (RFI) related to the Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) core provider grants in advance of the upcoming AEL services grant solicitation to be released this Fall. The last time that TWC adjusted the procurement of AEL funds was several years ago, and this RFI represents only the third time TWC has solicited core provider grants since 2014. The response date for the RFI is July 14, 2023.
TACC and the Texas Success Center are holding an informational webinar with host Dr. Tamara Clunis on July 7, 2023 at 12:00pm CST to provide an overview of the RFI, with information about how AEL fits into Talent Strong Texas Pathways and how AEL outcomes align with HB 8 implementation.
