Meet Our New Director of Institutional Strategy
The Texas Success Center is pleased to announce Christine Bailie as the new Director of Institutional Strategy.
Christine Bailie has worked broadly in the field of education for 20+ years teaching, leading education initiatives, conducting policy work, designing and sharing findings of research studies, and facilitating cross-sector regional partnerships to strengthen and align P-16 pathways. Her expertise in policy and practice encompasses college and career readiness, systems change, 60x30TX, career pathway alignment, math pathway alignment, dual credit expansion, equitable college access, and degree completion. Her data expertise includes mixed-methods studies with a strong focus to support the success of underrepresented and minoritized students, data sharing to drive action toward change, and professional development to build a data-informed region, and national presentations advancing the use of data in decision-making. Christine's lifelong passion is dedicated to expanding students’ access to, and success in, postsecondary education.
"It has been a long-time passion of mine and a privilege to work with community colleges as a change agent to drive reform to positively impact student’s lives," says Bailie. "I am hopeful that my skills may bring value to TACC’s collaborative efforts with institutions across the state to advance the Texas Pathways Initiative in terms of capacity-building, partnership, and the redesign of institutional systems to support students’ advancement through to degree completion."
