The CCATT board consists of a chair and 12 board members who serve two-year terms. The board provides vision for strategic legislative advocacy and participation, guides execution and evaluation of CCATT’s Momentum 2021 strategic plan, and partners with TACC to advance Texas public community colleges and their students.

BioRaymond Lewis serves as the chair of the Community College Association of Texas Trustees, representing over 400 community college trustees serving colleges around the state. He also is chair of the Galveston College Board of Regents in Galveston, Texas, appointed to that board in 2009 and elected to a full 6-year term in 2014. Lewis has served on numerous community and city appointed boards and commissions and retired a few years ago as associate dean with the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Health Professions. He has been a resident of Galveston for more than 45 years.
