Building on our August webinar about Article 1, Dr. Brenda Kays, CCATT’s Senior Consultant and President Emeritus of Kilgore College, will return for a second discussion on Senate Bill 37 and its implications for community college trustees.
This session will focus on additional changes to institutional governance, including new board responsibilities related to administrative hiring and executive searches. Dr. Kays will also address follow-up questions submitted by trustees and discuss how boards can approach these new responsibilities thoughtfully and in partnership with the president or chancellor.
