The Texas Trusteeship Forum provides governance education for community college trustees and regents at all stages of service. The program will cover foundational topics such as trustee roles and responsibilities, the board-CEO relationship, fiduciary oversight, student success and data-informed governance, and trustee advocacy. The Forum will also address timely issues impacting Texas community colleges, with opportunities for discussion and engagement. With the 90th Texas Legislature underway, the 2027 Forum will feature discussions of TACC and CCATT’s shared policy priorities, including community college finance, recent developments in outcomes-based funding, and the resources needed to sustain the funding model in the next biennium.

The event takes place the day after Community College Day at the Texas Capitol, and CCATT will host a networking reception for trustees and CEOs on the evening of Thursday, January 26. Registration will open in November.
